Presemo: a fully web-based classroom participation system
Presemo is a browser-based participation platform that can be used in courses to activate students. In Presemo, students can ask the lecturer questions, comment on lectures in different ways or give feedback. The lecturer can ask that students answer questions before, during or after the lecture.

Key features
- You can facilitate a chat activity for holding an anonymous discussion on a predefined topic.
- You can run polls for conducting multiple-choice surveys.
- You can hold a vote where students can type in comments, opinions, ideas, etc. on a given topic, and rate other students' comments.
- Each Presemo room has its own web address.

The participatory content created during a lecture (chat messages, poll results, etc.) remain in the room until explicitly deleted.
Nevertheless, it pays to clean up the room, deleting old activities to reduce clutter.
It is possible to export the contents of a room by selecting ‘Report’ at the top of the Control view.
The teacher shares a link to the Presemo room they created and the students participate by opening the Student view in their mobile device's (e.g. smartphone, tablet, laptop) web browser and participating in the lecturer-initiated activities in the room.
