External communications
Communication Services aims to act as a bridge between the university and society, making the work done at Aalto visible. Through communication expertise, we can support our community in engaging in public dialogue.
Over the course of this year, the four units will develop the portfolio of communications and marketing services. Moving forward, we will clarify the communications tools we offer and which services are provided, in part or in whole, by Communications Services. The goal is to produce a customer-oriented, understandable, and impactful service for both the Aalto community and external stakeholders.
Additionally, Communication Services is developing a content and channel plan to define key topics for external communication and the roles of Aalto’s communications channels.

The main channels for internal communications are aalto.fi, Aalto Social, newsletters, and community events.
Communications services offer variety of support for organising events. Large community events like Day One and academic traditions are organized by our event team.
