Aalto Social is our internal social media, a place for our community to meet and discuss freely. The channel supports open and active discussion and communality.
Guidelines
The easiest way to find Aalto Social is in the vertical Teams menu on the left. If the application is not yet visible to you, you can find it behind the three dots (please pin it). You can also use Aalto Social in your browser at social.aalto.fi (log-in required).
- Please, take a look at the common playrules before jumping into discussions – you can find them in the (> Community guidelines). We are developing the channel, and we welcome feedback and ideas in the .
- Aalto Social is for joint interaction between the whole Aalto community: anyone can create a community around a topic of their choice, and communities are always open to everyone.
- Use our official languages (Finnish, Swedish and English) so that as many people as possible understands and is able to participate in the discussion.
- When you start using Aalto Social, you will be asked to accept the community guidelines playrules.
- When you start a new community, let others know about it in every Aaltonian's .
- Over time, Aalto Social will take shape to be such as we together make it.
