Publishing your doctoral thesis
Instructions for preparing your doctoral thesis for publication and printing, and information on archiving
As the Aalto publication series do not have a designated publishing team or publishing editor, each work must be assigned a person or team who independently handles the practicalities related to the design, publishing and budgeting the work as well as the related agreements and publishing costs. To ensure the high quality of the works published in its series, Aalto University requires that the person or team responsible get permission to publish the work from an Aalto University supervisor or head of unit.
All Aalto University publishing is compliant with the university’s open access goals. Open online publishing makes the works available to a wider audience, thereby increasing the visibility of Aalto University’s research, artistic activities and teaching.
