After adding the basic information, you can add components, such as text paragraphs or images.
Tick the "Student Guide" option at the end of the page so that the event appears in the Student Guide.
If you are creating a news article for aalto.fi and want it to also appear in the Student Guide (or vice versa), tick the 'Student Guide public' option at the bottom of the page. This option will automatically tick the 'Student Guide' option above it as well. Please note that all events in the Student Guide must be public and available in three languages.
Finally, click on save and see what your page looks like. You can edit the page by clicking on Edit. By selecting 鈥楾ranslate鈥 => 鈥楢dd鈥, you can create other language versions.
To publish your event, click "Publish" on the far right-hand side or on the top banner.
Remember to add translations to your news and publish them. All events published in the Student Guide should be in three languages. You can find more detailed instructions for creating translations at the link below.
Additionally, to activate discussions on social media, assign a hashtag for the event and promote it to the participants.

It is possible to create recurring events, too. Under 'Event information', select 'Custom' from the drop-down list in order to set the recurrence for your event, as needed.
Note that the time in the event information is the first occurrence of your event, so for example 4.11. at 10 to at 11 4.11. The latter date is not the ending date of your recurrence.
