Three options for donation
There are currently three donation options in the School of Business, and they are:
School of Business in general
Studies in business and economics are in strong demand in our society, and the School's objective is to grow significantly during the 2020’s. Aalto University School of Business is a highly appreciated place to study, and the School has been the most popular choice in the Finnish joint application system to higher education over the past years. By donating you help us in offering our students high-quality education and doing ambitious research for better business and better society in the future.
Supporting the international student exchange
At the School of Business, we encourage all students to acquire valuable international experience during their studies by providing a grant to every student going on exchange abroad. By donating, you help our students gain important global competence, which is crucial for Finland’s competitiveness.
Ownership reaserch and teaching area
In 2022, Aalto University School of Business established a unique professorship in ownership. The professorship was established with donated funds. In autumn 2024, the Aalto Ownership Lab research center was established in the area of ownership. With the help of the new donations, the School is able to strengthen the research, teaching and societal impact of ownership.

Choose the amount of your gift and become a supporter of the School of Business.
By donating at least 500 euros (one-off donation) as an individual, you will have the possibility of having your name carved into the Donors’ Wall. Donations of at least 850 euros per year can be directly deducted from your taxes (in Finland). By donating at least 1000 euros (cumulative donation) as an individual, you can have a chair named after you.
In donations of 10 000 euros and more to the School of Business, please contact our Head of External Relations Jonna Söderholm (jonna.soderholm@aalto.fi). A deed of donation will be always drafted for donations of 10 000 euros or more. A donation of at least 10 000 euros to endowed funds (the School of Business in general and international student exchange) can also be made as a Named Donation. Read more here.
