Graduating student: make a difference through the Bachelor’s Graduate Survey!
The Finnish Bachelor’s Graduate Survey is a national electronic student feedback survey designed to chart students’ study experiences and their views on teaching in different disciplines.
Your response matters
Our aim is to get as clear a picture as possible of your study experiences and opinions on university studies and teaching.
‘Student feedback is a much anticipated and valuable form of feedback for both individual degree programmes and the whole university. Previous Finnish Bachelor's Graduate Survey results have drawn the university’s attention to, for instance, the need for improving student involvement. To that end, we have aimed to increase the visibility of student positions in various university bodies. The Finnish Bachelor’s Graduate Survey responses also provide insight into ways of promoting community building and peer learning in degree programmes, and we aim to share these insights on various teaching-related forums’, says Petri Suomala, Vice President, Education.
Your feedback is an integral part of the university process for degree programme evaluation and development. By responding to the survey, you are helping Aalto develop its feedback culture, while also getting a chance to shape degree programmes as well as the study experiences of future students for the better.
Your response influences education development and funding
When you request graduation through Sisu, you will be directed to respond to the Finnish Bachelor's Graduate Survey. Time will be reserved for responding to the survey also in the bachelor’s thesis seminars. Additionally, you can respond to the survey on the survey website at .
The response rate and the quality of the feedback given through the survey will have a major impact on the amount of state-disbursed core funding received by Aalto University.
You can browse earlier results of the Finnish Bachelor's Graduate Survey on the education administration’s reporting portal .
