NIX: Una lampada coi fiocchi by Mattia Anderle

Exploring the crystallization of snowflake geometrical formations, this research project delves into the captivating beauty of nature's patterns. The glass components of the artifact are crafted using a specialized code that mimics the composition of natural snow crystals. These glass pieces are then recreated using three different techniques: glass blowing, pressing, and casting. Meanwhile, the ceramic base undergoes experimentation with crystal glazes, adding an extra dimension to the piece. Through this blend of art and science, the artifact becomes a unique exploration of crystalline structures.
