Sustainable practices
Aalto University’s Code of Conduct outlines sustainability as one of the operating principles of the university. We aim to minimise any adverse effects of our activities on the environment in all our operations.
Our Code of Conduct also sets rules and guidelines for our commitment to, for example, good scientific practices, promoting openness and responsibility in our communication, and working with partners who share our ethical code.
The university also has a committee on research ethics and a working group on sustainable services, which promotes sustainability in the university’s various functions. In addition, our operations are guided by equality and diversity guidelines and accessible learning plan.
