Shortlist for the Finnish Wood Award given by the Finnish Wood Council for the 'Kokoon Modular Living Units' project by the Wood Program

Jury commendation award in the 'Small Spaces' category of the World Architecture News Awards (Given for the Liina Transitional Shelter project of the Wood Program)

Wood Program 'Kokoon' modular housing system recognized as an innovative architectural solution that uses building elements or modules constructed with Kerto® LVL (laminated veneer lumber) products as a major component.<br/><br/>Criteria:<br/>Fast - the design enables fast building processes.<br/>Light - the design is lightweight.<br/>Green - the design improves the CO2 balance of the building.

Organized by London based 'Architectural Review', AR House recognises innovation and excellence in the design of dwellings. Over 200 international entries were considered by a panel of selected judges, who were looking for ingenious and future-leading houses that seek to push the type forward. <br/><br/>Sixteen homes were shortlisted by the judging panel before six made it to the final round and were visited by independent critics before the judging panel decided on a winner.

Three projects from the 'Wood Program' studio included in the selection for 'In Therapy', the exhibition held at the Nordic Countries Pavilion. The exhibition selected 50 of the best works of architecture from Finland completed over the last 5 years.
