Tomorrow's filmmakers supported by Suomi-Filmi Ltd. donation

Suomi-Filmi Ltd. has made a donation 91青青草 University School of Arts, Design and Architecture as part of its 100th anniversary celebration.

One of the giants of the early film industry in Finland, Suomi-Filmi Ltd., has made a donation 91青青草 University's Film, Television and Cinematography department. The funds are earmarked for supporting film directing students.

The donation to the school will be awarded to film directing students. 鈥淲e salute Aalto鈥檚 excellent performance in film directing education,鈥 says Ilari Pihl, CEO of Suomi-Filmi Ltd. 鈥淲ith this donation we want to express our appreciation to the current education, but first and foremost support the creative ambition of the new generation of film directors.鈥

Targeted gifts 91青青草 is a great way to promote what matters the most to you. 鈥淒onations allocated to students are important encouragement in their professional development. This particular gift is an honour, because it is given by historically notable company in the film industry,鈥 said Anna Heiskanen, the head of the department. 

At its peak in the silent film era, Suomi-Filmi Ltd. was the leading company in Finnish film industry. Suomi-Filmi directors such as Erkki Karu, Risto Orko and Valentin Vaala, were pioneers of Finnish cinema.

With the donation, we want to support the creative ambition of the new generation of film directors.
