The application period starts on 26 February and the application deadline is 23 March 2018 at 12 noon.
In the beginning of March, the strategic initiatives will organize an information session about the call for pilots and idea proposals during which it's also possible to get help in writing a successful application. The exact date and venue will be announced later.
The A!OLE initiative calls for idea proposals from all Aalto people (faculty, program directors, researchers, staff, students) on online/blended learning. The best ideas will be selected and people involved invited to join the A!OLE Coaching Network. The network provides support on design, technology and pedagogy for you to realize the proposed idea in practice.
The Learning Challenge Aalto initiative calls for ideas from all Aalto people (faculty, program directors, researchers, staff, students) on challenge-based learning and employability. The best ideas will be invited to join the Learning Challenge Aalto community. Learning Challenge Aalto provides support on design, technology and pedagogy and opportunities for co-creation.
The Programme Attractiveness initiative calls for new pilot programmes to develop student recruitment and marketing. Bachelor's and Master's programmes with motivated programme directors and staff who are willing to develop the programme-specific student recruitment and marketing strategies and actions as well as admissions processes and who are committed to a two-year pilot phase are encouraged to apply for pilot programmes.
All the initiatives have their own application forms. Links to the application forms will be updated to this article and to all the initiatives' own web pages before the application period begins.

Our goal is to develop, explore and evaluate novel advanced technical solutions and pedagogical models for online/blended learning.
The future is made today. Tomorrow’s game changers are those who create value to companies and communities. We advocate for new ways of teaching and especially for integrating real life challenges into teaching, to form courses and programs which together with companies inspire, equip and support students towards the future of work.
Our goal is to create and develop concrete tools that help the programmes to monitor their performance, evaluate their content and to enhance their quality. We also aim to learn what makes programmes attractive and show the programmes how they can collaborate and share best practices in order to become and stay attractive.
