Open Call for Projects: Arts and Culture for a Better and Healthier Life

The project “The Art of Staying Healthy” aims to develop collaboration between the arts and health sectors and to pilot arts interventions on the health and well-being of people and communities in the Northern Dimension (ND) area.

With an Open Call for projects, NDPC, NDPHS, EUNIC Global and Arts Promotion Centre Finland are launching a joint project “The Art of Staying Healthy”. In the project, we aim to foster collaboration between the arts and health sectors and to pilot initiatives that contribute to the health and well-being of people and communities in the Northern Dimension area.

We invite organisations to submit ideas that explore how arts and cultural activities can be integrated into the provision of health and social care services. The proposals should engage specific target groups, for example, vulnerable populations, different age groups or patient groups.

The successful applicants will be offered workshops and mentoring to develop their ideas and will receive a grant of up to 10 000 EUR to pilot the methodologies and implement project activities. The selected projects will need to be implemented from November 2021 to November 2022.
