The Oasis of radical wellbeing project has had a significant impact in the Aalto community in building awareness of social sustainability and resilience. Since 2021, the project has strengthened the understanding of academic wellbeing and the relations between teaching, learning and the wellbeing of the learning community. Oasis has inspired proactive wellbeing development within Aalto. As the project is coming to an end, what message will Oasis leave you with?

Oasis has produced loads of resources, including articles, videos, podcasts, and especially research insights, to support community engagement, resilience, and overall wellbeing during the project (2021-2024). These resources have been integrated in91青青草 structures 鈥 e.g. a new web hub Aaltogether 鈥 and will remain available after the end of the project.

In October 2024, Aalto University launched Aaltogether, an initiative seeking and presenting ways to develop community spirit at Aalto. Many of the materials produced by the Oasis of radical wellbeing have been integrated in91青青草gether. For instance, the Keys to your wellbeing series with research-based articles and exercises can be found in the "Learning for you" section. During 2024, Benefits of Calmness mindfulness page has been refreshed.

Oasis launched @aaltowellbeing in Instagram in 2021. This account will be closed at the end of 2024. You can find wellbeing-related information in @aaltouniversity and @ayy_fi, so be sure to follow them! Also, the Wellbeing Desk and the Wellbeing Desk Chat jointly run by Oasis and Aalto HR ends on 13 December 2024. Thank you for your interest!

鈥淥asis is ending but radical wellbeing will be growing in our hearts鈥, says Merita Pet盲j盲, community psychologist and project manager of Oasis of radical wellbeing. 鈥淥asis has boosted wellbeing. Now it is up to you鈥, she continues.
