Impact with media – research communications training for the academic faculty in November

How and when should researchers start planning communications about their research?

Where do you get support from and help for communications at Aalto? How do you handle the media and cooperate with journalists? What's the best way to get your message through in today's flood of media content?

You're very welcome to join the research communications training aimed at all Aalto researchers! The trainings are organised during November. At each School, we will organise two identical morning training sessions, the latter of which will be in English. You can join whichever training session you wish and at any School. However, please note that the content of the training is partly targeted to the researchers of the particular School.

The training is meant for post-docs as well as experienced researchers and professors who are motivated to communicate about their own field of research to the public. You don't necessarily have to have any previous experience of working with the media.

The training sessions are organised by Aalto Communications Services together with platform. website functions as a convenient way for the media to find academic experts to comment on current issues, or contribute to a public debate with their research-based knowledge.

Please sign up for the training at least 7 days before it. The link for registration is at the end of this page. Thank you!
