FinnCERES Novel Openings 2020 call

FinnCERES launches the second Novel Openings call for Aalto and VTT researchers to stimulate the renewal of science in FinnCERES. Four major topics are targeted within the call, three of which are based on current challenges faced by the industry, as indicated by our industrial co-creation members.

The total funding in this call is €300k + €300k (Aalto + VTT).  Expected that 2-3 projects will be funded, with a total funding of €100-150k per partner.

The thematic areas for 2020 call are:

1.    (Bio)degradation and recyclability of bio-based polymers or bioproducts
2.    Carbon materials and biochars
3.    Disruptive methods to enhance the strength of fibers and fiber structures
4.    Biocomposite solutions
