is an interdisciplinary research initiative hosted by the Aalto University School of Science to advance and foster international collaboration and research at the highest level across the fields of science.

The AScI Visiting Researcher programme was on hold since 2015 but has now been relaunched as of April 2017. The call is continuous, and funding decisions are made once a month (except in June & July). Please have a look at for details, including the very simple application procedure.
