Aalto University's Computer Science ranks well in global comparison

Aalto University’s Computer Science reached to TOP 100 being the only Finnish University in a global university comparison.

In the European comparison the ranking for Aalto University's computer science field was 23 and globally 98. The comparison was conducted by U.S. News & World Report.  This comparative review was based on the research results and reputation of the universities concerned.

The Best Global Universities Rankings are based on indicators that measure the universities’ global and regional research-based reputation (share for both: 12.5%), total number of publications (12.5%) and the proportion of international joint publications amongst all publications (10%), as well as references (combined share of three indicators: 42.5%), total number of doctorates (5%) and the total number of doctorates relative to that of academic personnel (5%).
