About the building
Otahalli is a versatile sports complex in Otaniemi. Designed by Alvar Aalto, the Otahalli sports centre was completed for the 1952 Olympic Games. The building was the largest indoor sports hall in the country at the time, with a 45-metre span of wooden beams.
