Aalto University has received continuing funding for a joint European master’s programme on security and cloud computing. The programme is coordinated by Aalto and operated jointly by six European universities. Statement regarding Zoom's security
The Funet Miitti (Zoom) service used by Aalto differs from the general Zoom service in that it is implemented on a Nordic basis, in accordance with Finnish law and European data protection regulations. The users in the academic community and the academic environment are better protected than the general consumer service. Clear vulnerabilities have been addressed in the new Zoom versions and all users are urged to upgrade their devices immediately.
