CELL2H2
Green Hydrogen and High-Value Chemicals by Electrocatalytic Valorisation of Cellulose.
Research project from the Electrochemical Materials and Applications research group.
Research project from the Electrochemical Materials and Applications research group.

CELL2H2 is a project funded by the Research Council of Finland through an Academy Research Fellowship. The project started when the EMA group was based at the University of Jyväskylä from September 2023 and it continues until August 2027 at Aalto University.
The major aim of this project is to design and discover efficient electrocatalysts for converting cellulose into renewable high-value chemicals while simultaneously generating green hydrogen at low energy requirements.
Project Results
The project is ongoing; we will update this section with the main results as they become available.
