HORSE
by Rosa Helenius
This video works as a diary of my thoughts on the human relationship to the ever-growing cosmopolitan grass we know by the name common reed (Phragmites Australis). Our shores are covered with this reed that thrives in eutrophicated waters, caused by human actions. We focus on our irritation with the plant, which is simply a symptom of an inflamed ecosystem. Maybe by changing our attitude towards this plant, we can shift our focus to healing the wounds of the Baltic Sea. Could we replace hate with nurture?
