How do we use our bodies to communicate?

What can hand movements reveal about ourselves?

Consciously and unconsciously, our hands shape meaning, illustrating thoughts and emphasizing emotion. They animate stories and express frustration, joy, worry, relief. We hold them close when speaking from the heart, wave them wildly when excitement builds, or rely on them to support our heads in tired moments.

This project explores embodied knowledge and body memory, focusing on how we connect through everyday gestures. It asks how we sense and respond to the world through our bodies, and how movement becomes a language that translates emotion, presence, and connection when words fall short of expressing our lived experience.
