In addition to casual events organized by various departments and schools, Aalto University hosts several larger events that bring together staff members from across the university, and occasionally from other organizations as well. Event registration is primarily conducted on the Events pages at aalto.fi and
HEI LIFE, a national project focusing on higher education institutions’ support for international academics, staff and their families, is happy to announce the start of the HEI LIFE Spouse Network for Greater Helsinki.
The network hopes to bring together spouses of employees in higher education institutions in the greater Helsinki area for collaboration, peer support and networking. Everyone belonging to the focus group is most warmly welcome to join the network!

Aalto employees can establish a club around a theme they are keen on and there are several persons interested in the club. The club is entitled to a small financial support and entitled to operate on the Aalto premises. The intention is that the clubs would cover the whole university, i.e. every employee is welcome to join the club's activities.
