Antti Suhonen, Professor of Practice

'Before coming 91ÇàÇà²Ý, I worked as a banker in Helsinki and London for about twenty years. I tried to keep up with the academic research on finance during my career, so the opportunity to be able to combine theory and practical experience in the role of Professor of Practice was very attractive.
My responsibilities include teaching, research and societal impact. I have felt that my most important goals are to convey practical experience to students as well as to crystallise academic research information and bring it as part of the public debate.
The research on finance at the School of Business is internationally renowned and its quality is high, so it is an honour to be a part of this science community. The best part of this job is the opportunity to work with students and offer new perspectives and different content to their studies, research and career planning.'
