"What I first thought would be just another event with little value residing in my mailbox turned out to be one of the best experiences I've had since starting my degree. From day one, everyone in this program was incredibly welcoming, supportive, and eager to help/answer questions. It should also go without saying that I learned a lot from this too. So, having said that, if you鈥檙e on the fence about applying, don鈥檛 hesitate鈥擨 can't recommend the Aalto International Talent Program highly enough!"

"If you are not doing research just for the sake of research but want to create impact, this program helps you reflect on it. You will meet experienced professionals with real business and technical expertise who can show what truly makes an impact and what does not. If you work in a diverse research team at Aalto, this may be a great chance to connect with Finnish professionals and learn the Finnish way. Did you know recruiters spend less than 10 seconds on your CV (I only realized this after the program!) You will get valuable lessons from HR on job applications. I strongly recommend it!"

"The Aalto International Talent Program offered me an opportunity to talk and meet various experts from the industry in my study field. Importantly, we met many people from different departments, from R&D, Operation to HR. This helped us to have a thorough view of how our theoretical knowledge learned from university can be applied in the industry. This is the first time Borealis joined the mentoring program, yet they managed to organize it very well. We were very welcomed and all our questions were carefully considered and resolved. We really appreciated all the advices and learnings Borealis people gave us during the program."

"I knew that Valmet as an international company was covering a lot of fields in the energy and manufacturing, but having the chance to see the sites in person gave me a better understanding on how the whole process comes together. The company representatives were open and flexible to change the program based on what we wanted to hear and learn, so the visits and topics were not strict but more tangible. Even if the program doesn't go into terms of employment, it is still a great networking opportunity."
