Access to companies is granted and maintained by Aalto University Campus & Real Estate (ACRE). Based on the lease agreement, ACRE defines the access rights for the company and creates the company superuser (administrator).

The access rights of the employees are defined in the contract of the company and are the same as the company access rights. The defined superuser will create and maintain the employee user records in .  

According to the employment contracts, the superuser will define access right (emloyment contract) start and end dates to the employees.

Activating the access right to the token  

In this process, there are two options:  

1. The superuser registers a new employee's information and token information in . The activated token is delivered by the superuser to the employee OR
2. The superuser registers a new employee's information in . The superuser instructs the employee to pick up an empty token from lobby services. The employee registers and activates the token independently in .

The access rights for coworking customers are activated on a mobile device (quick guide below)

1. Download the Aalto Space mobile application from the  or 
2. Log in with the mobile phone number you provided for your ACRE Extranet account
3. Enter the code you receive via text message, read the Aalto Space introduction and click “Done”
4. If you operate in several companies please choose which company you want to log in as
5. In the application, select “Spaces” and under “Doors” click “Log in to see the doors”
6. Log in with your ACRE Extranet credentials
7. The access right is activated for the user account automatically
8. In the application, select “Spaces” and allow the application to use Bluetooth
9. As you approach the door, keep the mobile app open
10. When you are close enough to a door to open it, the door icon will turn green. Press the green door icon to open the door
11. After the first login, you can sign in 91����� Space with your Extranet user account by selecting “Campus user sign-in”

Access right deactivation 

The access right is automatically terminated according to the end date inserted in . According to the employment contracts, the superuser updates the employees' access right (employment contract) end dates.

For reuse, the tokens need to be returned to lobby services.

The coworking customers' access token is their mobile device. The contract expiration date automatically terminates access on the mobile device.
