Results, certificates and transcripts of records
Read here where you can find the results of your Open University courses and exams and how you can order certificates and transcripts of records of your studies at the Open University.
You can find the results of exams and courses in (you need a valid Aalto user ID to log in). Teachers have four (4) weeks time to grade a course or an exam. Read the instructions for filing an appeal if necessary.
Please note that in July the grade registration is on summer break. Please be prepared to wait for a few weeks more to get your grades in the register.
Inyou can download an official, electronic transcript of records of your Open University studies certified by Aalto University, please see the instructions. To log in to Sisu, you need a valid Aalto user ID and Multifactor Authentication. For this reason we recommend that you download your transcript straight after the grades have been registered.
An electronic transcript is a PDF document equipped with a digital signature to confirm its authenticity and integrity. The digital signature replaces handwritten signatures and stamps. The electronic transcript should be a valid alternative in all situations where signed and stamped paper transcripts are used.

My Studyinfo is an official database maintained by the Finnish National Agency for Education, with information encompassing, as a rule, all your higher education studies and study rights as of 1995. The My Studyinfo service enables you to restrict the information on completed studies you wish to share. Information can currently be shared in Finnish and Swedish. New information on completed studies can be accessed in My Studyinfo with a delay of a few days.
Logging in to the My Studyinfo service requires identification with an online banking ID, a mobile certificate or an identity card with a chip.
If you need an official paper transcript with ink stamp and signature, it will be sent to you in paper form by post. Orders will be processed within a week.
Your order should include
• Your name
• Your student number at Aalto University or your date of birth
• Delivery address
• The language of the transcript (Finnish, Swedish, English)
• The number of transcripts you require
If you want a transcript of records of studies completed in the Aalto University Schools as degree studies, please send email to studentservices@aalto.fi
In case you need a certificate of course enrolments, please contact us via e-mail at avoin@aalto.fi. Requests will be processed within a week.
If you have completed the required courses of a minor, please apply for registration via . Minor studies will be checked by Open University , and you will receive a transcript of records once the minor has been registered. The process will take approximately 1-2 weeks.
