Sustainability Science Days

Sustainability networks Aalto is a part of

Aalto coordinates the Nordic Sustainable Campus Network. We are also members of Finnish UniPID, European Climate KIC and several other platforms promoting sustainability.

Baltic University Programme logo

BUP, a network of institutions of higher education, concentrates on sustainability, environmental protection and democracy in the Baltic Sea Region.

CLC:n logo

CLC is a network of companies, researchers and cities who strive to be among the leaders in terms of climate ambition.

EIT Climate-KIC logo

EIT Climate-KIC brings together transformative, systemic innovations that together can trigger a shift in the existing system.

FIBS logo

FIBS is the largest corporate responsibility network not only in Finland but also in the Nordic countries. A forum to meet the need of companies and the rest of the society for a common channel for exchanging and creating information.

The Climate Partners network is intended for companies that want to take part in making Helsinki a carbon-neutral city. It is also possible for institutions like universities, colleges and other organisations to participate in the operation of the network as 鈥榮upport members鈥.

ISCN provides a global forum for campuses to share ideas for achieving sustainability on campus and integrating it in research and teaching.

Keke Forum logo

Keke Forum aims to enhance sustainable development in higher education in Finland. The forum engages more than 200 people.

NSCN logo

The network targets sustainability/environmental staff working in Nordic higher education institutions 鈥 both in administration and teaching.

UniPID logo

UniPID is a network of Finnish universities to support interdisciplinary studies and research, societal impact and sustainable development.

YJY logo

The Association for Environmental Management, known as 鈥漎JY鈥 in Finland, was established in 1996. Its main mission is to promote environmental management and improve its members麓 professional competence.

Aalto Sustainability (AS)

Aalto Sustainability team (during 2018-2020 as Aalto Sustainability Hub) increases interdisciplinary collaboration and promotes sustainability in teaching, campus development and other operations at Aalto.
