MingleforGOOD is a casual networking event designed to connect like-minded people, brainstorm about sustainability ideas, and get the opportunity to implement your idea on campus through the Sustainability Action Booster grant.
Join us for an evening of networking, delicious food, and collaborative brainstorming on sustainability ideas. We'll form groups based on the ideas you're most passionate about, so come ready to innovate and make an impact.
You'll have the chance to work with like-minded individuals to develop a real-life sustainability project. Throughout the evening, mentors and the Sustainability Action Booster team will be there to support and guide you. By the end of the event, you'll have the opportunity to take your idea to the next level by applying for the Sustainability Action Booster grant.

Sure, everybody is welcome to join the final MingleforGOOD event on the 26th of September! Whether you have submitted an idea yourself or are interested in exploring one of the other proposed ideas, we are excited to welcome you! Just remember to register so that we can prepare for the right number of servings!
Do not worry! We handle all submitted ideas anonymously, making sure your name does not appear anywhere unless you specifically ask us to.
The final event is meant as a kickstarter to apply for the Sustainability Action Booster grant with your idea. Although we would love to see as many of these actions come to life, you are not required to apply for the grant.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee this, as all applications are evaluated individually on a separate process. However, the event provides a great opportunity to collaboratively design a feasible application that inspires the community, and ask any practical advice related to the application criteria or guidelines.
MingleforGOOD is inspired by the winning concept developed by Thekla Wei脽kopf, Didier van Overveld, and Shuyi Liu at the Solve the SDGs hackathon event in 2024. This event, now brought to life with the support of the Sustainability Action Booster, aims to support students in their sustainability endeavors and connect them with Aalto's sustainability community.
