Humans are a hyper-social species, equipped with astounding capabilities of connecting to, and collaborating with other people.
- Why do we need so much contact to others, and what if we don’t get it?
- What kind of interaction with others creates collective intelligence and wellbeing, and what does not?
- What is empathy and how could we develop it?
- Why does online collaboration not feel the same as face-to-face?
This talk will offer you answers to these questions through a deep dive into the neuroscience of empathy and collaboration. We will examine what mechanisms makes us social beings, and how to best use these capabilities in the diverse interaction settings of the digitalised world.
